The popular tourist destination Beitostølen, is located at the very entrance of Jotunheimen with the characteristic Bitihorn mountain as its recognizable landmark. There's lots to do in all four seasons, from music festivals, sports events and a large number of activities. This small mountain village has the region's best selection of restaurants, bars, shops and accommodations, but yet only a short walk from powerful mountain adventures. The hiking trails start from the center of town and before you know it, you'll be in the midst of a hikers paradise, looking towards the high peaks of Jotunheimen.
