Located a scenic 12 miles northwest of Jackson are Teton Village and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the largest and most popular ski area in Wyoming. It is easy to find Teton Village, just “head for the hills”. Actually, you are headed to the east slope of the Teton Mountain Range. Take WY 22 out of Jackson to the junction of WY 22 and WY-390 – a distance of approximately 5 miles. Turn onto WY-390 and go another 6 miles and the village will be obvious on your left. Situated at the base of the mountain is the Swiss-style Teton Village, Wyoming, better known as the "Vil." Everything one needs for a great Teton Village Wyoming vacation is crowded together here: espresso stands, restaurants, après-ski bars, live music, gift shop, storage lockers, ski and snowboard shops, and more. There are many lodging options and services include a post office, bank, a small grocery store, child care, and gear rentals.
