Travemünde Niemcy

Travemünde is a small village located at the mouth of the Trave River to the Baltic Sea, 13 km. of Lübeck. However, it is the largest German port of transbordades in the Baltic, with connections to Sweden, Finland and Estonia. The history of Travemünde is strongly linked to Lübeck since its inception, since in the 13th century the capital of the Hanseatic League bought the small village to build a major commercial port, which is still operating today.
