Narwik Norwegia

Narvik is a municipality and a city in Norway, belonging to the province of Nordland, Ofoten district, in the geographical center of the country. Narvik borders the municipality of Evenes to the Northwest, Bardu and Gratangen in the North, with the province of Norrbotten in Sweden to the South and East, and the municipality of Ballangen to the Southwest. By its high latitude, it is included within the Arctic circle. The city focuses its tourist activity in observing the wonder of nature which is located in these areas as Nordic, although the hardest winter months is not very recommended visit the region since it has not much activity and the few hours of sunlight make the place to lose a bit of attraction. The city was very important during WWII since it was considered a strategic set of great value for both armies.
