Private short trip "Orang Utans of Sumatra"

Day 1 : Kuala Namu - Medan – Bohorok in Bukit Lawang

Arrive at Medan Kuala Namu airport before 12 pm, meet and greet then drive to north-westward for about 5 hours to Bohorok, orang utan center. En route passing through several small towns followed by vast view of rubber and oil palm plantations with some countryside landscape. Arrive in Bohorok, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free program. Additional trekking to be paid on the spot.

Day 2 : Bohorok Trekking 6 hrs to see the Orang Utans + River Tubing (B,LB)

After breakfast, start on a 6 hrs jungle trekking where you can see the semi or wild Orangutans. Steep, slopes and dense vegetation will bring you to the excitement of the Sumatra rainforest. Here you have the opportunity to see several species of indigenous flora and fauna. If you are lucky you may encounter Orang Utan, leaf monkey, macaque, gibbons, siamang and abundant bird life. Conclude the trek by tubing down the river by big rubber tyre, Walkers must be fit and have suitable, large profile shoes. Trekking pace will be adjusted with clients's stamina. Back to hotel.

Day 3 : Bukit Lawang – Medan – Kuala Namu Airport (B)

After breakfast, check out and drive to KNO airport in about 4 hrs time. End of tour.

Note: It is a wildlife activities in National Park, thus sighting of orang utans is not guaranteed! In fruit season for example, orang utans might not come out for food because there are plenty of food supply in the jungle. Any additional trekking not mentioned in the program are optional and subjectto additional charge
